When I was young, music was my first love. From morning until night, I would sing with everything I had, convinced I was destined to become a singer. I spent hours in front of the mirror, studying the way my idols moved, how they sounded, how they carried themselves. Their melodies and lyrics became my world.

At eleven, everything shifted. I entered a foster home, and with it came a new chapter that introduced me to the world of fine arts. Drawing and painting became my quiet refuge, a way to process emotions that felt too big for words. In high school, photography found me. It gave me a language of light and perspective, a way to express what I saw and felt. Suddenly, the world came alive in angles and textures, and I realized I could capture beauty in its raw, fleeting forms.

As life moved forward, my creative path became tangled in other responsibilities. I became a mother, unexpectedly and early. For the next eight years, I gave everything to that role. But even then, I found ways to keep creating. I made art with my hands. Macramé, clay, and handmade art supplies became my emotional outlet when I could not find the words. In 2011, I began a new chapter in massage therapy, learning to heal through touch. I worked in that field for over a decade, finally stepping away in 2022 to find something new.

Standing at that crossroads, I asked myself what I truly wanted. School was an option, but entrepreneurship pulled at me more deeply. I decided to return to art. Not just as a hobby, but as a path. I chose to create, to design, to photograph, and to tell stories through visuals again.

Now, photography and digital design are at the center of my work. They allow me to share what I see and feel, and help others do the same. As I continue to explore marketing and launch new creative offerings, this blog becomes a part of that process. A place to share insights, personal reflections, and the ever-unfolding journey of art, business, and becoming.

This is the beginning of something vibrant and real. I am excited to share my vision and invite you into the process.

Thank you for being here. Stay tuned for updates, musings, and the unveiling of new projects created with Meraki — with soul, with intention, and with love.
